artistic career
Imma covers painting, photography, video and performance. From the very beginning she has a strong vocation towards interdisciplinary and artistic research. For her art is a vehicle towards the knowledge of the invisible and everything that escapes the intellect.
Since 1995 she begins an introspective stage, and plunges into her own personal abyss, thus declaring herself as a marginal artist in an act of rebellion that flees from promotion and gives priority to her ascetic side. She uses the camera, both photography and video to investigate subjectivity: and she opts for blurred and defective images, which according to her show the invisible and hidden side of reality.

The Hidden Face Of Imma
In spite of his phobia of “promoting his work”, he has held some exhibitions in civic centers in Barcelona or cultural centers in the Valencian Community: “Alicia en un mòn Real”, “Esclats”, “Imatgeria”…
In 2000 she is selected in the list of young Valencian artists of the magazine Ars Nova. The same year she was selected as a guest artist and made a performance at the Insonit exhibition, art and digital music fair of 2000 in Alcoy, Alicante. In 2014 she had a solo exhibition at Punt Multimedia, Barcelona. From here she decides to take a break to dedicate herself to music in Barcelona, and starts playing in local bands and experimenting with music and composing songs. Later she will be chosen as Resident Artist by Artefacto Sonoro, Quito Ecuador, presenting her project at the Centro de cultura contemporánea de Quito in 2017. Later she is selected as a juror in artistic research projects for the Ministry of Culture of Quito, Ecuador 2018, and is a speaker in the cycle of conferences on creativity and development in Latin America: "let's talk". Later she is selected for a performance, along with other artists from Barcelona and the direction of Ferran Utzet, by the Escocesa, but problems caused by the Covid19 prevent her from doing so.
